Rey Major to the Third Power – When Robots Talk

I remember when I was a kid I had this infatuation with robots. My sister asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up and I had to take a minute and think about it. While I was thinking I looked for inspiration and asked her what she wanted to be, and she said she wanted to be a Bruja (Witch).

It was either a witch or a firefighter. I don’t remember right now, but the point is I ended up saying I want to build robots when I grow up. My sister isn’t a witch or firefighter and I don’t build robots, but I did make a song about robots. The song was inspired by a steampunk type vibe.

You can hear the sounds of air escaping from the robots, the metallic pounding of industrious labor, and the electrical whirring of a robot … talking.

It’s on my YouTube Channel and my music artist name is Rey Major to the Third Power or “RMΒ³”. Thanks in advance.

Bonifacio Global City: A Vlog of the Condo I Stayed In.

BACKGROUND: In 2019 I had the privilege to visit my fathers home country; the Philippines. I flew with Philippine Airlines – by the way they sell your data to third parties – and it was a no stop flight averaging 16 hours from LA to Manila.

It was long and my feet swelled up really bad, but on the bright side I got to see Crazy Rich Asians and damn near cried out loud with joy. It was a good movie and I recommend watching it.

I also learned the Fresh Prince of Bel Air is on Netflix in other countries, but is not on Netflix in the United States. Fresh Prince is one of my childhood shows, how can it not be on Netflix in the United States!

Okay, I am starting to rant and that’s not what this post is about. It’s about my trip to Bonifacio Global City (BGC).

BGC is a lovely area and is metropolitan in every sense of the word. I would wake up, put my shoes on, take the elevator down, and walk to the nearby Starbucks every morning. They have huge skyscrapers, modern shopping centers, friendly locals, jeepneys and tricycles, but everything you could want and need is walking distance.

If and when I move to the Philippines I would start here, learn Tagalog, and venture to higher ground.
