The Spreading Ground from lucky dragons on Vimeo. Description from lucky dragons Vimeo channel: Performance / walking meditation for a large group, staged all along the two-mile path along the top of Hansen Dam in the San Fernando Valley. A simple score provided instructions for gathering and dispersing as a group, as well as sung texts unique to each performer. As the group spread across the length of the path, in and around a walking audience, the singers took turns teaching one-another their songs, or, alternately, being completely alone.
